NorCal Campaign Overview:

This campaign started all of the characters at first level.  
It took some time to get going because none of the player had much 
experience playing D&D.

Story Arc #1:
   In this portion of the story the characters learn how to work together
   against foes and a team spirit emerges.

   Adventure #1: "The Stolen Power"            Apr 25, 1992 - Jul  3, 1992
      Our adventurers set out from Highland to reclaim a stolen magical 
      book for the temple of Indra and pit themselves against an evil 
      cleric named Hadonis.  The party fights among itself and two 
      members leave.

   Adventure #2: "Moor Tomb Map"               Jan 15, 1993 - Mar 12, 1993
      The group heads to South Moor to avoid Hadonis and to follow a map
      they found in his treasure.  They find a crypt full of traps and
      some brigands and some strange creatures as well.  Furnes acquires
      what they later find out is a Ring of Power.  They leave a friend in 
      Turthan.  

   Adventure #3: "Guardians of the Tomb"       Apr  9, 1993 - Apr 23, 1993
      A dwarf named Gloin joins the group as they head north towards the
      dwarf lands.  On the road they fight some bandits and find a strange
      building in the wilderness.  They then go off to Foxboro.

Story Arc #2:
   In this portion of the story, the characters get wrapped up into some
   of the politics of the Dwarf and dessert lands.

   Adventure #4: "The Crypt of Istaris"        May  7, 1993 - May 14, 1993
      On the way to the dwarf lands, they group ends up saving the town
      of Barrington from destruction.  The town makes them official heroes.
      They also discover that Hadonis was behind this mess and very nearly
      defeat him before he escapes.  They are also introduced to Prince
      Michael the heir to the kingdom of Stoutwall.

   Adventure #5: "Dark Tower of Calibar"       May 28, 1993 - Aug  8, 1993
      The group decides to aid Prince Michael and gets caught up in their
      biggest adventure yet.  They reclaim the magical crown for Michael,
      and along the way find clues that Calibar might be behind the Orc
      Wars which only recently ended.  Also, they found and lost one of
      the evil Rings of Power.  Gloin died on this adventure, and the
      whole party found themselves as Calibar's enemies.

   Adventure #6: "The Dwarven King's Court"    Jan  7, 1994 - Mar 18, 1994
      After a short stop to pay tribute to Gloin, the group makes its way
      to the dwarven capitol.  Spike had been made an ambassador by Prince
      Michael and argued with the dwarven council to open up talks.  They
      also got caught up in a mystery within the court itself!  In the
      end the dwarves align with Prince Michael and Captain Reinhart of
      Balthasar against King Calibar.  The group decides to leave the
      region and goest to Kestria.

Story Arc #3:
   In this portion of the story, the characters explore their own pasts
   and futures.

   Adventure #7: "Beyond the Glittering Veil"  Apr 15, 1994 - May 13, 1994
      After taking time to train and relax the group takes a side trip
      to another world and stops an invasion of Shadows in Silver Rise.
      Unfortunately, Galen loses the box he's been entrusted by his magical
      order to deliver to Strafferberg.

   Adventure #8A: "Raiders of the Plains"      Jun  3, 1994 - Jul  7, 1994
      They spent this adventure hunting down Galen's box.  This took them
      to Talnor where they did some research and pissed off some members
      of the Wolf's Head Raiders.  They then found a Raider camp and 
      destroyed it when recovering the box.  They headed to Strafferberg.

   Adventure #8B: "Revenge of an Old Enemy"    Jul  7, 1994 - Jul 17, 1994
      Ever since the first adventure, Rhodan had been searching for clues
      about where his mother might be.  During adventure #7 he found some
      hard information and came to Strafferberg to find her.  Unfortunately,
      he led the group into an elaborate trap set by their old enemy,
      Hadonis!  In a nasty fight, they defeated their old nemesis.  Also,
      Galen delivered the box he was supposed to deliver.

Story Arc #4:
   In this portion of the story, the stakes of the game become a bit higher.

   Adventure #9A: "To Bite the Moon"           Jan 13, 1995 - Feb 17, 1995
      The group helps take out a band of gnolls that attacked a wine 
      caravan.  They do so to help Galen's family and a White Rider named
      Jacinth.  During the adventure they find themselves actually turned
      into gnolls.  After defeating the Naga they gnolls call a "god", they
      kill off the gnolls and return to Vinyard successful.

   Adventure #9B: "Deception Pass"             Mar 10, 1995 - Apr 21, 1995
      The group fights off a band of Ogre Magi and a Dragon that are holding
      a dwarven fortress, and a clan heir under their control.
