This scenario for Heroscape was constructed using one Master Set,
one Lava expansion (Volcarrenn Wasteland), one Castle expansion,
and one Roads & Trees expansion (Road to the Forgotten Forest).
The terrain includes the remains of a castle with holes in the walls.
There are 8 bridged segments. The bridged areas are held up through
use of a single Ladder element. At least one side of each bridged
area uses a wall segment with the interlock side exposed where the
Ladder element is pushed down just far enough so that a hex tile
set on top of it will not fall down, although it might sag a little.
There is no pre-set scenario for this map. If you have ideas, please
post in the forums (see link on right). We recommend that you
ignore the speed bonus normally granted on road hexes to make it
a little harder to hold the walls.

This was once a castle in a prosperous kingdom, but then disaster struck.
A flaming needle from the sky crashed into the castle, flinging stone
and fire everywhere. 20 years later a pool of molten rock still sits
in the crater. A mound rests where the tail end of the needle still
sticks out of the ground.
Legend tells that this was once a Jandar base of operations and that
the Soulborgs suicide dived an aircraft into the castle to destroy it.
And that the molten rock is from the still-active engine that drove
the craft.
